Children With Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI)

Sticks
and Stones is a not-for-profit organisation in it's infancy, concerned
with raising community awareness and vital funds for OI research. OI is often so severe that children are born with broken bones and continue to break bones their whole life.
Even children with mild OI tend to break one bone every year and children with more severe OI can
have numerous breaks in one year. the nones of the arms and legs often
become bowed and the spine b ones can be affected with 'crush
fractures' and curvature of the spine. It's no just the bones that are
affected, but also the teeth are brittle and the muscles are weak.

and respected world-wide for the care of children with OI and research into new and exciting treatments.
